Rule 24A
Collection and sale distribution of herbs:

(1) A person or an organization who wants to collect herbs from national parks and forests in the intermediate zone according to the prevailing law shall open an application to the custodian including the type of herbs, collection area, quantity and purpose of collection. It should be given.

(2) If it is deemed appropriate to grant a license to collect the herbs as per the demand while examining the application received as per sub-rule (1), Schedule-5A. In the case of the herbs mentioned in Schedule-5B for a maximum of thirty days in one season in the specified area and quantity by taking the same fee. The custodian can issue a license to collect herbs in the following format.

(3) The custodian should check the amount of herbs collected according to the license to collect herbs obtained according to sub-rule (2) and check the quantity collected according to the prevailing law. 5c.

(4) Regardless of what is written in sub-rule (3), the custodian may grant a license to the person who collects the highest amount of money through the bol kabol system for the collection and sale and distribution of herbs of the species specified by the Government of Nepal.

(5) Regardless of what is written in sub-rules (2), (3) and (4), in the case of herbs whose collection is prohibited according to the prevailing law, collection permit and exemption will not be given.

(7) According to the prevailing law, a notice shall be published in the Nepal Gazette and in the case of herbs mentioned that they can be exported abroad only after extracting the essence, it shall be in accordance with the same notice.
